Pokemon Sun and Moon News

Hello everyone.
This topic will be different to the offical news topic and the speculation topic, as it will be completely focused on news regarding the upcoming games Sun and Moon and is actual evidence.  If you would like to discuss the features in more depth (small discussions are allowed here), please move the discussion over to the speculation topic.

Congrats on 2000 posts, i feel dumb...
That shadow pokemon thingy looks weird...

It has been confirmed that we will see gameplay footage of SM on Pokemon House, a Pokemon T.V. Show. It will air on April 3rd in Japan. I'll bring more news as it comes.

The only footage shown on Pokemon House was the original trailer. However, CoroCoro has just leaked and we will receive more information on SM in the next issue. However, we now have confirmation the Magearna is a Steel/Fairy type Pokemon. I'll bring more news as it comes.

We will be receiving more 'news' in CoroCoro next month. It most likely leaks between 10-14, so we will most likely have box legendaries by that time next month. I'll keep the updates coming.

I haven't posted this yet, but we will receive some news on the 10th of May. Nothing else has been said yet, but I presume that we will get box legendaries and starters, and CoroCoro will touch on that instead of reveal something new. I'll post more as it comes.

"The first details for Pokémon Sun & Moon have been revealed. These details come via the first footage of the game which showcases some new Pokémon including the starters and the legends. It will be released on November 18th 2016 in the US, Australia and Japan and November 23rd in Europe. The game takes place in the Alola Region and the three starters are the Grass/Flying Rowlet, the Fire-type Litten and the Water-type Popplio. The Japanese trailer also confirms that you can alter your skin pigment in the game, just like X & Y. Keep checking back as we get more details.
New details have come via the official site. Rowlet knows a new move called Leafage
The person who gives you your Pokémon in the games is a character named Hala
Differentiation in some parts of the trailer show that the character is wearing a slightly different shirt and shorts, potentially indicating that full trainer customisation is back in."

We have received lots more news, as well as another trailer.

Solgaleo is Psychic/Steel, and has Full Metal Body as an ability. this Ability makes Pokémon’s stats not be lowered by the effects of an opponent’s moves or Ability. Additionaly, it has the move Sunsteel Strike.

Lunala is a Psychic/Ghost Pokemon with the ability Shadow Shield. This allows a Pokemon to take less damage from an attack that hits when the Pokémon has full HP. It also has the move Moongeist Beam.

There is also a new Rotom that goes into your Pokédex.
The professor is the character Kukui and has a mysterious assistant called Lillie

Your new friend is called Hau.

There's a new feature where you can scan QR Codes in order to read a Pokémon's Pokédex data to explain where you can find it. You can also share codes with a friend so it is registered in your Pokédex

It has been confirmed that Pokémon Sun & Moon will be featured on Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 on June 14th 2016 which feature new information and developer stories, while Pokémon GO will have a Q&A on June 15th 2016 and an E3 2016 Pokémon Special on June 16th 2016.

In a special video on the Japanese site, the Pokédex lists the Alola Pokédex and the MeleMele Pokédex.

for lunala's ability, how much less damage does it exactly reduce?
and wtf, how is solgaleo psychic/steel, makes no sense what so ever .-.
but i'm happy with their signature move n_n but their typing is a little bit sucky ;;;
psychic/steel is ok, there's bronzong already but it's fine. It has 4 weakness but a lot of resistance, psychic/ghost are immune to 2, resist 2 and weak to 2. But for time weakness to both of it's weakness tho;;; And we already got a legendary psychic/ghost;;;
they ar prob 680 stats in total again XD

I'm not sure about Lunala's ability. I agree with most of your points though. You also forgot Metagross for psychic/steel typing.

i think lunala's ability probably halves the damage when at full health cuz that's what multiscale do. Cuz salgaleo's ability is pretty much the same as clear body .-. But apparently salgaleo hits hard n_N

Yep. And I think that it is the same as Multiscale. I'd like to see some new mega evos soon. We're also getting some info at the Treehouse at E3 I think. It'll be a live stream on the 15th of June from my understanding. I'll post that news once it arrives.
