Oh, nvm. I mainly play showdown... So I don't know much about breeding. Is it you can't breed legendary Pokemon except for manaphy?

Yes, it is. Most legendaries are genderless anyway.

Garchomp and dragonite are a little bit better than hydreidragon, garchomp because 102 speed and 98 speed actually makes a fair amount of difference ,since there is a lot of pokemon with 100 base speed, garchomp also has higher attack than hydrei's special attack, has the hidden ability rough skin, and access to swords dance. Dragonite because multiscale, access to dragon dance and extreme speed, higher attack than hydrei's special attack.
Though hydreidragon is pretty good though, it is a great wallbreaker.

They all have the same base stat total, so they are even and have different roles.

well, ditribution of stats better a lot too. They do have their own role though.

I have a 6IV Magikarp from Japan. It's good for breeding IVs and getting a shiny. It'll take a while to get a Pokémon like that in another egg group (Magikarp/Gyarados is in the Dragon Egg Group.)
