New extended color palette! Now there is a lot more variety in color options for text. To see, check the icons in the text box, it is located on the bottom row, 3rd one on the left. Enjoy!

Username Tagging

You can tag another member in any post on the forum, by using the tagging icon of "@" before their username. When a member is tagged, they will receive a notification in their toolbar to let them know that they have been tagged, which will also link them directly to the post that you wish to direct their attention to.

When tagging a username, it is important to write the username correctly. If it is not spelled or capitalized correctly, the member will not be tagged. However, when tagging a username that has a space in it, you must include quotation marks around the username, as well.

Incorrect Examples:
@Aeon Lovejoy --- @aeon lovejoy

Correct Examples:
@ + "Aeon Lovejoy" ---> @Aeon Lovejoy
@ + Knightmare ---> @Knightmare

Hashtags

Hastags are just the same as they work on twitter or other similar sites. Simply place the number sign symbol before your text (it cannot have a space in it, so underscores are usually used) when you are posting to leave a hashtag. Anyone following a particular hashtag will receive a notification when it is used.

To follow a hastag, simply go to your profile and find the "tags" tab at the very end of the tabs list. There, you will see a field where you can type in the tag that you would like to follow and add it to your tags list. Then, you will receive the notification when it is used and you will also be able to click on the tag in your list to bring up all posts where that hashtag is used.

Username Tagging Hover Pop-up

When hovering over a tagged username, there is a popup for information over the tagged member:  By default, this was white and light-based in design.

I have now added a code to make it a dark green to give it a more dark-based feel and to fit in with the forum colors.  If any bugs are noticed from this code, just shoot me a PM and let me know, please!  

Small codes have also been added to switch the white lines in the chatbox with darker ones. Just a minor edit for appearance details! This should cause no errors, as it has already been tested!

Widget Changes

There are some changes to the widgets on PokéForumunity! We have decided to add a customized widget showing recent members! You can now see the latest 8 members that were/are online.

We have removed some widgets and switched the positioning for some.

New profile and helpful links

At the top of the index page you'll see part of your profile and some helpful navigational links. This is still being tweaked and it is not finalized just yet.

Added profile avatar to tagging

You can now see the profile avatar when tagging a username on a post.
